Could there be anything more beautiful than young love? Love was certainly in the air at the wedding of Josh and Kristen on Good Friday. In the afternoon of Friday the 25th of March I met with Kristen, the beautiful and very nervous bride, to capture those precious moments and memories that happen before a ceremony.
I made a quick trip over to the groom, Josh, and his groomsmen and family to snap a few shots of their pre ceremony shenanigans before heading back to the bride. With hair and makeup done, bridesmaids ready, it was time to put on the dress, shoes, grab the bouquets and hope in the car.
I grab a few last shots of Kristen as she left the house and then drove ahead to meet Josh and the boys at the ceremony.
At a family friends property, guests gathered, patiently awaiting the arrival of the bride. With a short wait, she soon arrived along with her gorgeous bridesmaids. With both Mum and Dad on either side, Kristen made her walk from the car, down the isle and to her very soon-to-be-husband.
The two were soon married, and with the formalities finalised, guests stepped forward eager to congratulate the new couple.
After a few family photos I whisked away the bride, groom and bridal party for a short time to capture some shots around the property. Not wanting to keep them from their guests for too long, we finished up and headed back to the reception.
This certainly was a special wedding. Held on the property of a close friend and just a small gathering of friends and family, made for a very relaxed, intimate day of love and celebration!
Congratulations Josh and Kristen!
